Spanish style park, very close by, good for a jog or a stroll to get out of the sun! Often they have some kind of painting, archival or photography exhibition outside on the perimeter

The largest green space in the center of Querétaro. beautiful old trees, flowers, monuments. The well known "Canción mizteca" was written in this park by a homesick Oaxacan soldier during the Mexican Revolution. At times, the monarch butterflies rest in the trees here on their way down to Michoacan. If you are in Querétaro in October, you might catch them at dawn (viewing from the edges of the park, since it opens after dawn)
