Dat Dog founded in 2011, has grown from a single, 475 Sq. Ft. “Hot Dog Stand” into a New Orleans culinary institution with a devoted following, offering an array of gourmet sausages, all-beef hot dogs, award-winning French fries, premium spirits and a sampling of local craft beers, in a brightly colored, unpolished environment.

LUNCH - Dat Dog is located on the burgeoning Freret Street in Uptown New Orleans. The joint is colorfully clad, features indoor/outdoor dining and a full bar. Their "dogs" are supremely unique. First, pick your meat type: polish sausage, brat, red hot, crawdog, etc. Then, choose toppings, which range from your typical chili and cheese, to the absurd. Often times, live music is played outdoors on the string lighted patio. If not, plenty of televisions are available for sport/event viewing. Unlike a lot of places around town, there is plenty of space at Dot Dog (even at the bar), so feel free to bring your whole posse for lunch/dinner/drinks.
