Beautiful temple set on the northern coast with a stunning golden Big Buddha statue.

This Buddha greets you upon arrival as you fly over it upon arrival. The short walk up to the Buddha offers lovely views over the bay. As well as that you can there a few lovely shops within the grounds as well as lovely local places to rest and have a bite to eat.

Wat Phra Yai, known in English as the Big Buddha Temple.its golden, 12-meters seated Buddha statue was built in 1972 and remains one of the island’s most popular attractions. Set on Koh Faan, Big Buddha temple is reached by a causeway that connects it to the main island.
