You will love the "atmospheric" feel of Morocco along with the starlight sky. This place is a classic theatre with a new twist. Comfortable lounge chairs, great popcorn and food. Dinner before or after the show? check out Mistrals for unbelievably great food.

A must see and historic building! Catch a movie in this beautiful venue. Dinner and a movie? Visit the amazing and attached Mistral! Built in 1929, the entire theater is styled with a Spanish motif. That old-world elegance won’t be lost with the renovation. The lobby elements are being restored to their original grandeur, while new, modern elements will enhance the historic character. The unique ceiling in the theater, which used incandescent bulbs to mimic a night sky, has been updated to use LED lights and fiber optic light cables configured to look like Granada, Spain. While I toured the theater, representatives of the Neighborhood Theater Group gave a demonstration of the ceiling, including the ability to the launch two shooting stars towards the screen.

"The Avalon Theater originally opened in 1929 and is Bay View’s only remaining motion picture theater. The Avalon’s Atmospheric Auditorium has been completely restored to its original grandeur. Styled after a Mediterranean villa’s courtyard with 12,000 fiber optic twinkling stars above. 230 seats total with wide isles, for ease of serving food and beverage, so guests can dine while enjoying the show.
