The Flatiron district is home to my favorite Italian marketplace, Eataly, where I’ll introduce you to the chef of its cooking classroom, La Scuola. Together we’ll embark on a market tour where I'll talk to you about the ingredients that we'll later use when cooking part of the three-course menu the chef has curated especially for us. Once we're ready, we will head to La Scuola to get our hands a bit dirty and to fill our bellies. We'll enjoy a toast, and the first course together. Next, the chef will lead us in a semi hands-on segment, where we will cook the main course all together. Once we've put in the hard work, we'll dig in and raise our glasses in toast—don't worry, there will be wine the whole way through. We’ll also have dessert to finish off our lunch.
Ciao! I’ve always been enticed by food and culture, and this path led me to study Culinary Arts in the USA, and food systems worldwide. For over three years, I studied, worked, and lived in Italy, in the birth town of the Slow Food movement. There, my love for Italian gastronomy blossomed. At Eataly, I get to create events that educate others about Italian culture and food—how cool.

We will meet at La Scuola di Eataly, which is located just inside the 23rd street entrance of Eataly Flatiron. From there, we will tour the marketplace, picking out ingredients for our lunch, and then head back to La Scuola to cook and enjoy.
