We will visit the most multicultural, dangerous, and exciting neighborhood of Barcelona: El Raval. We will get to know its history and speak about the uncensored underground Barcelona. We will explore the streets of Raval starting with Plaza Catalunya, where we will talk a little about the history of the city, and then enter and explore the small streets of Raval. We talk about the different community and political movements such as anarchism, the independence movement, and squatter societies. We will touch on topics such as sex, drugs, street art, rumba catalana and immigration, as we go deeper into the most emblematic streets of the neighborhood.
I have been a citizen of Barcelona for over 18 years, I studied Political Science in Montevideo and am currently studying Sociology in the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, also I am a youth basketball referee. I am passionate about history and love sharing it with others, that's why i have worked as a tour guide for several years and I love doing it. I like to show visitors the perspective of a local, so that they can understand and live the city better. This experience gives me the opportunity to combine these activities with the passion to show the city where I have chosen to live.
We will send a PDF with important information about the city and we will keep in touch in all your stay in order to know the…
