Starting at a hidden trailhead, we will hike together for 10 km admiring breathtaking coastal vistas and stopping at secluded beaches. We will sync in with the rhythm of nature while I share stories of the First Fleet's arrival and the pioneer settlement in Sydney Cove. Along the way, we will stop at Aboriginal sights to pay homage to the oldest living culture in the world. As we walk, you will understand why water and sand play such a quintessential aspect into Australian lifestyle. I will show you where to take that perfect shot of one of Sydney’s best ocean panoramas. We will complete the walk in the iconic coastal suburb of Manly, where I will share tips on where to enjoy the best local craft beer and how to make the most of your trip back to the city on the famous Manly Ferry.
After working as a guide for almost 10 years in Europe, I abandoned my semi-nomadic life to settle in Sydney, where I work for an Australian expedition cruise travel company, coordinating field operations in the polar regions. After hours, I live and breathe the Australian outdoors. I love to combine my intrepid nature with passion for guiding by doing hikes around Sydney. When not hiking, you will find me running, biking or scuba-diving in Cronulla where I live.
