Strolling under the Cuban sun, we'll travel a typical Havana resident’s daily journey. We’ll explore the city in a way that´s anything but mundane. In just a few hours, you'll experience firsthand the successes and setbacks that are unique to our island, gaining an understanding of how we Cubans dance to our own beat. Between riding a common Cuban bus, visiting shops and markets, and stopping at a typical ice cream parlor, by the end of the day you'll have a clearer conception of the economical and social conditions of daily life in Havana.
We’re a team of friends working as professors of economics at the University of Havana. Understanding the real Cuba can be difficult for visitors. We'd love to help you understand our diverse and passionate culture, which is the Cuban phenomenon. We'll try to show you things you can't see by yourself and we’ll be delighted to answer your questions.
Lunch like a local. Breakfast & Ice Cream
We’ll meet at Cafe Locos por Cuba wich is two blocks nearby the staircase of the University of Havana where we teach. We’ll share an introductory breakfast together in a nearby café to break the ice and tell you about some of our Cuban history.
10月22日 星期二 從09:00到13:30。
Please arrive on time as you can't join the group later. We’ll be walking a little bit, so wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen.
