Star Gazers Cabin, a Cherry Springs Property

Cherry Springs State Park dark skies property. If you star gaze, hunt/fish, hike, ATV, snow mobile, golf, or just want to sit back and enjoy wildlife, this is the perfect home for you! The home sits on 5 acres of private property with wrap-around deck & fire pit to look at those beautiful stars, 1.4 miles from the State Park gazing field. For ATV's or snow mobiles, we have ample parking area & many trails very close to the property! Wood stove heat to keep you toasty warm - we provide the wood!

Nestled right on the Susquehanna River, RIVER has a great view of Hyner Mountain Vista and easy access down to the water to enjoy at any moment. The beauty of the day floods the inside and the wonders of nature can be seen from every angle of our open floor plan. When evening falls, engulf yourself in beautifully colorful sunsets and vast skies littered with twinkling stars. RIVER is secluded and serine with original art sculptures and MCM pieces. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. Our cabin is ideal for a quiet get-away for hunting, hiking, shooting, snowmobiling, ATV/UTV riding, fishing & star gazing. The cabin is located in an area only accessible via dirt roads. It is about 1 mile to the northern boundary of the Tioga State Park; where exploring is wide open and snowmobiling is permitted in winter. If you want a quiet escape this is the place for you! Our fun hidden gem is just the retreat you need! Only 7 minutes from Downtown Coudersport for all your shopping and dining needs. 20 miles from Cherry Springs Star Gazing. Very close proximity to ATV trails/Pilot Program in season. Our retreat is part of an old 100 acre farm that has 3 ponds you can fish in, hiking trails and woods that you are more than welcome to explore. You will enjoy star gazing from the view of the front yard! An OFFSITE cabin to our Potter County Family Campground.

The Watson Farm

This peaceful farmette beneath the Dark Skies will capture your heart. You’ll feel right at home with the newly renovated interior. Take your morning coffee out to the new deck and watch nature come to life or push yourself out on the rowboat to clear your head. Challenge your friends to a game of cornhole or if you’re feeling energetic take a hike to the top of the mountain behind the house. As the sun sets grab some firewood and build a roaring bonfire making memories you’ll never forget!

Elk viewing just miles from the location. Enjoy stargazing at Cherry Springs Statepark. Enjoy hunting or hiking as property is minutes from State Forest Land. One of Potter County's many snowmobile trails runs right through the property. Enjoy watching deer and wildlife right from the house.
