A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

Our Location Dulce Casa is located in the beautiful grounds of Grantown on Spey Caravan Park just a 5 minute walk away from the town centre where there are lots of restaurants & cafes to choose . It’s the perfect location to explore both the East & West side of the Cairngorms National Park and to enjoy lots of activities such as biking, wildlife watching, snowsports, fishing & watersports and, we are right on the edge of the Tomintoul & Glenlivet Dark Sky Park - perfect for stargazing!

Below a pond and tucked behind a hedgerow on the edge of a permaculture smallholding, our charming shepherds hut is the perfect hideaway for those looking for an eco farm stay or self-made retreat. 'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

My place is located directly on the seashore with spectacular views and is walking distance to the village convenience store. It has a large, secure, shorefront garden, great for families with kids, solo adventurers and business travelers. It can sleep 4 people but ideally suited for couples. Quiet and peaceful.

The 3-bedroom lodges are ideal for families or groups and sleep up to 6. 1 x double bed, 4 x single beds, all bed linen is provided laundered in-house. Bathroom, bath, easy access shower. Living room, kitchen/dining area open plan & full equipped, Free-view TV and DVD player, Bluetooth audio player, WiFi Kitchen with microwave, fan oven, hob and fridge / freezer. Conservatory overlooking the lochan Electric heating in all rooms, with an electric stove additionally in the living area.

Kellas Lodge

The Gate Lodge, four star rated, is located at the entrance to Kellas House. A comfortable lodge offering a large sitting room with fireplace, dining room, fully equipped kitchen and comes with your own private hot tub. Please note there is a surcharge of GBP 8 per day per pet this can be paid cash to us. If your stay is longer than 5 nights you can use our laundry facility located at Kellas House (3 min. walk) please ask about this on your arrival if you like to use this facility.

Garden Cottage, Aboyne. Peaceful and relaxing .

Relax at our peaceful, well-equipped and comfortable Cottage. Cottage has outside dining table and chairs , fire pit , logs and log burning stove inside. We provide complimentary logs for both . Bike storage with charging. A short, safe walk into Aboyne. Aboyne Loch, old Railway line and Aboyne Golf Course are across the road, which makes for an active or totally relaxed holiday. Easy car drive North to Ballater and Braemar or on the regular buses, which stop at road end .

My traditional cottage is set in the middle of the delightful village of Boat of Garten situated in Speyside near Aviemore. It is bursting with charm, cosy and comfortable. Fully decorated for Christmas and new year. It has a very large secluded garden with various areas to relax. Cosy and comfortable with full central heating.
