No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Bring your sneakers !

A welcoming apartment ideal for families with children. The apartment is located 400 meters from the Sassi Di Matera. The apartment has a double bed, sofa bed for two people, sofa bed, induction cooker, electric oven, refrigerator, air conditioner, washing machine portable. Air conditioner euro 15 per day. The portable washing machine costs €10 per stay. Electric heating costs € 5 per day. Includes Wi-Fi, Netflix, Amazon Prime and a large outdoor garden with gazebo.

This building was first used a cannon house and throughout the following years served as a warehouse, a coal pit and an atelier of a renowned local painter.
