The "Aloha Suite" is the name we have given our guest room attached to the south end of our garage. It is a separate building near our home and shop buildings. The room's decor is tropical, with, we hope, the spirit of "aloha" present.
Wander is a memorable, renovated, original 1969 A-frame cabin tucked away on a 1/3 acre of land filled with old-growth trees located 20 minutes from the edge of the Mt. Baker National Forest. The property backs up onto public land that connects to the wild Columbia Basin. Wander is a cozy getaway for couples, with a queen bed tucked into the upper story. For groups, there are two snug twin beds and a comfy full-sized sofa bed. Wander sleeps 4 comfortably with an expansive deck for tents.
In this crazy time in our world, we invite you to watch the sun set early over the mountain and feel the cool breeze. Go to sleep to the sound of a creek roaring in the distance, wake up to the sound of beautiful birds. Have a fire, play horseshoes, bocce, go for a hike through a beautiful forest beside the creek. Unwind in our space and let it all fall away. We welcome you to breath deeply and relax at our cabin.
