The cottage circa 1802 offer a peaceful private setting on a historic horse farm once part of Monticello with close proximity to wineries (10 minutes), town (12 minutes), Rivanna River borders the property, Carter mountain (8 minutes) and many other activities. A "Jimmy Buffet" salt water pool complex has a private Jacuzzi for each unit, double bars, two fire pits, frig ,full bath/shower/changing room) There is a private lake (catch and release fishing) and many places to walk on the property.

This two bedroom ca 1945 bungalow house located on a private street along Mink Creek, is located in historic downtown Scottsville, located on the James River. Within walking distance are four restaurants and a brewery. A grocery store and other restaurants also a short drive away. A nature area, fishing lake and trail are directly across from the house. It has a kitchen, dining and living area. Wifi is available. If this house is already reserved, I may have other properties available.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. For some peaceful moments you can take a short stroll on the trails around the property. You can enjoy a peaceful day of fishing at the pond which is well stocked with crappie, bass, shell cracker, and catfish. We practice catch and release here on the property. But if you want to cook up the catch of the day as the main course that’s ok as well. Then kick back and sit around the camp fire with s’mores and looking at the moonlight.

Serenity Lakeview Cottage

Renovated lakefront apartment, downstairs from the main home. It is located on beautiful Greene Mountain Lake with year-round lake and mountain views. Wildlife on the lake includes geese, herons, ducks, osprey, eagles, turtles, and beavers. The setting is serene and peaceful. You will have a private entrance and a covered porch. Kayaks are available for your use on the lake. Unit approved with a Special Use Permit for Tourist Lodging by Greene County.
