The comfy lounge with a fireplace, and luxury beds with crisp cotton linen, will ensure cozy evenings followed by a good sleep. The large patio and outside dining area enjoy spacious farmland views, and bask in the afternoon sun.

In the HEART of the KWAZULU NATAL MIDLANDS MEANDER. - A “Far Away Place” is a gay-owned two bedroom cottage with views to a beautiful dam, trout fishing, a huge Pine forest & the mountains of the Karkloof. We are 5km on the old Curry's Post Road from Terbodore Coffee & a short 12km drive into Nottingham Road. We are social people, who love our dogs, all 6 of them. (Smooches, Chino, Toffee, Peanut & Jelly Bean & Lady) If dogs are not for you, then our cottage is not recommended.

We are very excited to be back after a long break. Suite Mags had a small renovation and is now looking in top shape to welcome new and old guests. Suite Mags is a self-catering guest suite, spacious and comfortable for one or two people. It is ideally located, close to Greys Hospital, Cascades, Virgin Active, Liberty Mall and Athlone Shopping Centre. We are very close to the N3 off & on-ramps. The entire suite is for the guest/s only.

THE HAYLOFT - A Spacious, Stylish, Unique Cottage

The Hayloft is a self catering cottage set in the spectacular village of central Hilton. It is located close to upmarket schools, restaurants,shopping centres, hospitals, many major sporting events and The Midlands Meander. Just 10 minutes drive to Pietermaritzburg and an hour and a half to King Shaka Airport. We also have the Crofters Loft, The Shepherds Loft and The Farriers. We are on a solar system so load shedding does not affect us.

Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a working farm, so there will be ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on! Cottage has braai facilities, WiFi and DSTV.

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming.

Light, spacious and airy, it is comfortably furnished with everything you'd need for a weekend away in the beautiful Kzn midlands. Mission House is in the heart of the Midlands Meander craft route, and only a short distance from the N3.
