Cozy, beautiful casita! This is the only home of its kind in Portland. Artfully built in traditional timber-frame style, all of the joinery is wood-to-wood. Every timber was milled from our family land. Insulation is clay-straw and the walls are natural plaster. Basement Dwelling

This basement efficiency apartment has its own entrance off the driveway next to the sidewalk and has everything you might need to be comfortable. The ceiling is not that high so I recommend it for people under 6'2". My family including a dog and cats live in the house above so you might hear us but they don’t have access to the apt. Gas and/or electric heat that you control, smart TV and recliner that will stand you up. I do allow animals if you pay the $20 pet fee and see rules.

We’re located on a quiet street in the King/Sabin neighborhood that’s just a short walk to great restaurants, shops, parks and a grocery store down the street.
