OAH 1870 Oldest Alesund House

Welcome to OAH-1870, the oldest surviving house in Ålesund’s city center – a charming cultural treasure built in 1870. This unique home withstood the devastating fire of 1904, preserving not only its original character but also a true piece of local history. Perfect Location: residential area, you're only 5 minutes on foot from the vibrant heart of Ålesund. Enjoy local cafés, restaurants, parks, museums, and iconic viewpoints like Fjellstua. Langholmen private Island - with rowing boat

A whole island for yourself with a cute cabin for two people with the basic necessities and direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. You can catch fish, spot eagles and sea-otters, watch the endless sunset and be directly in nature undisturbed by the modern world. A small rowing boat is included. Bed sheets upon request and extra fee. We are dependent of guests to clean out properly after their stay to welcoming next guests. Please respect. The cabin is right by the sea line, surrounded by stunning nature and tall mountains. It is only 12 km from the city center of Molde, where you will find everything you might need. A pearl in the sea gap! Newly renovated farmhouse from 1894 which has retained its unique charm and old style :) The house is located on Ulla, Haramsøy (Haram municipality), with the sea as its nearest neighbour. It is a short distance to fishing opportunities and a bathing area, and the hiking trails are right outside the kitchen door. There will also be a boat available for free use during the stay at your own risk.
