Welcome to OAH-1870, the oldest surviving house in Ålesund’s city center – a charming cultural treasure built in 1870. This unique home withstood the devastating fire of 1904, preserving not only its original character but also a true piece of local history. Fjord view in centre w/parking

Just metres from the town centre, but very quiet at the end of a narrow road, with amazing fjord and mountain views! Your parking space is in front of our house, and you go down an exterior staircase to your entrance. The entry has a big wardrobe. Next is the modern and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and washer dryer combo. Down the hallway is a bedroom with a 150x200cm bed and a big closet, and a living room with a sofa bed that pulls out to 140x200cm and a crib. Welcome!

This seaside property is one of the few homes directly by the water in this region. It offers a perfect setting for relaxation, taking in the stunning views from the house or the sauna. Situated close to UNESCO World Heritage sites like the iconic Geirangerfjord, this cabin offers easy accsess to some of Norways most breathtaking and protected natural landscapes.
