This is the perfect spot for large groups, with the adjoining duplex available for rent to accommodate everyone in your party!

Stay next to beautiful Paint Creek in the heart of Iowa's Driftless Region. Guests can choose from a queen bed or double futon upstairs in the main living area. We also have a queen air mattress available. Enjoy the scenic view of one of Iowa's best trout streams from the house or adjacent green space. Take a 5 minute drive to Yellow River State Forest, and enjoy close access to other public hunting and fishing areas, Effigy Mounds, Pike's Peak, and the Mississippi River.

It is steps away from one of Iowa’s natural trout streams Patterson Creek, the recreational playground of the Upper Iowa River, and over 1,000 acres of wild prairie and woodlands managed by the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation. The Natchway Suite at Backwater Suites

Locate one block from the Mississippi River this beautiful two bedroom suite one with a queen bed and one with king bed. Suite comes with full kitchen. We are located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and parks. Relax on our back patio equipped with a gas grill and fire table. For larger groups the Natchway and Hummingbird have an adjoining door and can accommodate 8 guests. All 6 units at Backwater Suites have indoor access to each other.

HotRod Junction

Located in a former mechanics garage right off Hwy 9 outside of Lansing, IA directly across from Red Barn Campground, this simple unit offers plenty of room for a couple. Easy one level walk in with front covered porch, 3 season room, very large pull through gravel parking lot for boats/trailers, additional small garage access available for those that would like to put motorcycles away for the night. Approx. 1 mile to Lansing

De Soto Riverview Cabins #5

Cabin 5 is a 2 BR unit, fully furnished with kitchen and bath, featuring 1 queen and 3 twin beds. It comes fully equipped with everything but your food & drinks. A $25 fee per person is added for parties larger than 4. Max occupancy is 6 adults/children. The area offers numerous activities: year round fishing, hiking, hunting, snowmobile trails, motorcycle riding, bicycling, wineries, breweries, Amish Bakeries.
