The Mine Managers Suite at Avalon House has some of the original timber wall panelling dating back to 1889 giving it old word charm whilst upgraded modern amenities make it a warm and comfortable private apartment for two. This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. The self-contained cabin has been comfortably set up. The cabin is located close by to the main house on the property however it is surrounded by trees so there is plenty of privacy. Please note there is no television.
