Welcome to your one-of-a-kind, historic experience located in the countryside just 1 mile east of Springfield city limits. You will experience our finely furnished family home with modern technology & conveniences, originally the one-room North Round Prairie country school from 1875 to 1945. Deluxe features include nature trails, wildflowers, sitting areas, full garage access, and a working cattle farm provide a one-of-a-kind, quality experience. A 3rd bedroom suite upstairs was added in '22!

Tiny Home Cabin - No Cleaning Fee

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. It maybe small at 375 sf, but it has all the features of most hotels with one queen bed and a full bed in the loft. Located near downtown Springfield, IL and many Abraham Lincoln attractions. Deer often walk around the property which is on a quiet dead-end residential street. The kitchen has most everything you need to cook meals. Plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, and extra pillows. Watch Netflix, Hulu, and Disney also.

Oakbrook Akers Lakeside Cabin Retreat

Located in the heart of the country, Oakbrook Akers Cabin is an absolute retreat! Relax on the many porches overlooking the pond, take time to meander to the docks to fish, enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or spend the evening at the grilling station in our covered patio. In the winter, tuck yourself away in the cozy cabin complete with a wood burner, having a movie or game night (with popcorn of course)! Built by my father, we hope you cherish your time spent here just as our family has.

Florence Guest House--Loft Unit

ONE DAY ADVANCE BOOKING NOTICE! Upper Loft Unit is the top floor of the guest house. With it's own entrance & deck area, No Interaction (if desired) from the lower unit is possible. Loft Supplies: Living room/kitchen area, private bathroom, large bedroom with 2 twins/1 full bed. Deck with an amazing view of the area. Guests DO HAVE FULL USE of the large yard. Guest House Has: Parking area, two Illinois river lots, electric grill, screened in porch. ALL linens, towels, Bed sheets!!

Audrey’s Abode is just the place you have been looking for to relax and reconnect with family, friends, nature and a simpler time. Located on a 7 acre hobby farm just south of Jacksonville, Illinois (30 minutes west of Springfield), Audrey’s Abode is a fully restored historic log cabin with all the modern amenities for a comfortable getaway. Private master bedroom features queen sized bed, and attached bath. Loft sleeps four with two full beds and an air mattress. Full kitchen with stove, full size fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Living room with sofa and dining room. Charcoal Grill, fire pit, picnic area, and walking trails. Pets are welcome.
