Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

Just walking distance to the historic downtown Cleburne, you could not find a more charming and quaint place to enjoy your stay. The Yellow Jacket Cottage is close to downtown dining, shopping and entertainment. Garden Of Eating, Our Place, Mug On The Square and Gilati's Ice Cream Parlor along with Plaza Theater, Songbird Live and quaint antique shops all only blocks away. YJC offers a queen bed, pull out sofa, full kitchen and washer and dryer. We also offer a book full of fun things to do!

Enjoy a private fenced backyard with a pool, hot tub, fire pit, covered patio, outdoor kitchen and bathroom. The game room features a pool table, foosball and TV, but does not have A/C or heat. Make some memories at this family-friendly place. Built in the late 1890's, this bunkhouse was a place to rest for working cowboys. Today, you can enjoy the updated home by watching horses peacefully graze, enjoy a cookout, play a board game, or read. Located two miles from downtown Alvarado and has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a study space, and internet connection. There is a fenced area of the backyard for dogs to run around. Riding lessons are available dependent on schedule.
