Cabin on Sabbathday

Hear and see the loons from the comfort of this screened in porch. There is a trundle bed that pulls out on the porch for those that would like to lay out there , read , and listen to the birds. The cabin built in 1944 was the second structure built on our property. It is in between our boathouse and the main house. It is unique and rustic. There are two bedrooms and one bath. A small bar. A private dock and a shared beach area. There is taxidermy in the cabin including a half mount Grizzly.

Knotty Pine ("KP") Cabin is located steps from Echo Lake- one of the cleanest lakes in Maine. Perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, and listening to the loons. Early birds enjoy beautiful sunrise views & night owls soak in the peaceful star-filled skies. Even on rainy days, we've got board games, puzzles, and a small TV to relax and make memories with loved ones. Walking distance from Camp Vega/ Camp Winnebago, near Camp Laurel, short drive to Belgrade or Augusta!

Unwind at this charming two-bedroom cabin nestled on the serene shores of Tripp Lake in Poland, Maine. Perfect for couples, or small groups looking to escape the hustle and embrace lake life. We now have docks! Wake up to the sounds of loons calling and enjoy your morning coffee with a view of the water. Spend your days swimming, kayaking, or fishing off the private dock. In the evenings, fire up the BBQ grill and dine al fresco at the outdoor seating area as the sun sets over the lake.

There is a public boat launch. Wood needs to be purchased locally. Come enjoy a quintessential rustic Maine camp. Parking allowed on top of the hill. Must be able to navigate a flight of stairs. Not handicap accessible. Minimum Age Requirement to Rent: 25 years old Sorry, no pets allowed.

Enjoy a quiet and peaceful visit to this cottage on a small pond in Maine. This place was renovated by my family and I in 2022 with a brand new wooden deck and stairs leading down to the water in 2023. A full sized bed and the bathroom has a shower and tub. We love to cook so there’s a sprawling kitchen counter and full kitchen with a grill outside on the back deck. Surround yourself with greenery and water and settle in for a cozy visit.

Sitting 125 feet from the east shore of Echo Lake is the Nest at Camp Skoglund. A cozy cottage for two with all of the amenities you will need. Your deck provides a wooded view of the lake and we offer a fully equipped waterfront for your relaxation and fun on the water. If you require lodging for more than two, please inquire. We are open seasonally, starting in early June until Columbus Day or later depending on the weather.
