In 1834, it was a chicken coop nestled between the house and barn. Today, it's a cozy cabin just a stone's throw away from the villa and venue. From the private, rural setting to the rustic decor, you'll feel as though you've traveled back to simpler times. It's unique, refreshing and oh-so tranquil. Relax and enjoy time together at Creekside. The cottage is a picturesque spot for one or two guests or for groups up to 6. Extra guest charge is $20 per person after 2. Located on our farm only 15 minutes from downtown Dubuque and the Mississippi Riverfront. Explore the woods, fields, and creek on our farm. Visit the animals. A short drive to Mines of Spain, EB Lyons Nature Center, Eagle Point Park, Galena, Bellevue, Chestnut and Sundown ski areas, two monasteries, craft breweries, wineries.

This custom log cabin is the perfect getaway for friends & family seeking the solitude of the Galena Territory and fine dining and shops just 10 minutes away on Galena's Main Street. Each of the 3-levels offers an owner's suite with bath. Cozy up to 2 fireplaces, grill on the deck, or make 'smores at the firepit. The cabin has high speed, fiber internet and the lower-level walkout features a 55” flat screen TV. Guests can access swimming pools & pool tables at the Owner's Club 7 minutes away.

After a day of adventures, relax in the spa tub or enjoy a glass of wine on the private deck.

Galena Country Getaway

Brick walkway leads to the cedar deck with Adirondack chairs overlooking the large backyard. Enjoy dinner out on the deck and roast marshmallows over a bonfire at the firepit. The dark sky provides excellent stargazing. Kitchen features full-sized refrigerator, cooking utensils and a variety of spices. Spacious bathroom with a waterfall-style shower. Carpeted loft includes a sleep number queen sized bed and two twin beds. Close to Historic Galena & Apple Canyon State Park

Our 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom retreat located in the Galena Territory is the perfect choice for your getaway with access to the Owners' Club. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. The four seasons room is perfect for relaxing. The home has a spacious back deck for cookouts and entertaining. The house is a 3 minute drive from the Owners' Club and minutes away from 4 golf courses, Shenandoah Riding Center and Marina. 10 minutes to downtown Galena, 15 min to Chestnut Mountain.

Home by the River

Situated alongside the Mississippi River, wildlife abounds in every season. With eagles nesting nearby, there is always something new to see from the beautiful sunrises, cruise ships passing by, and watching the commerce of the barges and railroad right out the front window! This home has been recently refurbished and sits at the edge of our 15 acres. You can see us and visit with us if you like, or you can maintain privacy 10 acres away!

The Old Farmhouse

The old farmhouse is located on a quiet, dead-end road. It sits on top of a picturesque hill surrounded by rolling farmland. The Pecatonica river surrounds the farm on three sides. The farmhouse is the perfect place for quiet time and relaxation. The Farmhouse was built in 1914. It still has the original woodwork, and beautiful hardwood floors. Sit on the porch or sit around the fire pit and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage.
