Authentic Spacious Farm-Stay near Lynchburg, VA

Get away from the city with an authentic farm-stay experience! This working 200acre Black Angus cow farm is located 15 minutes from historic Appomattox and 30 minutes from Lynchburg and Liberty Univ in a quiet, peaceful rural setting. The entire house is yours while the farm owner lives in the separate basement apartment. Observe farm activities, ie, moving the grass-fed cows from pasture to pasture, see some long horns nearby, or just kick back and relax on one of the property's ponds or creek!

The Loft @Venue1848

The Loft has one bedroom with one queen size bed for 2 guests. If your 2nd guest needs an extra bed, you can add a king size blowup mattress OR a twin mattresses for $25 per night. Please message me your extra bed preference and pay me directly with cash or card before you checkout. If your Airbnb reservation includes an extra guest fee, there is no additional charge. Message me your extra bed preference. For the baby, we also have a Joovy Room 2. We are happy to accommodate your family.

Tudor designed Manor home, now being run as a bed and breakfast style Inn. Located in the downtown area of historic Appomattox Virginia - Walking Distance to downtown Across the street from Liberty Baptist Church and easy access to many historical sites. The Carriage House is a new addition in 2005 and offers a separte living quarters from the main BNB. Great for families and pet friendly! Unlisted for the last couple of years because of a long term resident! Open ow for short stays.

This is a quiet, serene spot where you will not be disturbed. We have a fire pit and tent camping right beside the creek. There is plenty of room for two tents and some hammocks. Our property is 13 acres (which you are welcome to explore) and behind our property is a field with cattle. We are only a 5 minute drive from the James River and area to launch kayaks/canoes. Great hiking is nearby and downtown Lynchburg is only 15 minutes away. Liberty University is 12 minutes away.

This cabin from the 1840s was meticulously reassembled on a 500 acre farm and sits right next to the James River. Come and enjoy the quiet, the river, and scenery and forget the hustle and bustle of the city. This cabin is off-grid but with solar power lighting and seasonally dependent running water for an outdoor shower and sink nearby.
