A paradise in the woods, a place to connect with nature. Sit in tranquility with the living creatures near the lake. No wifi, we have NATURE. Along the path there is a seperate building which houses the toilet and a different building for shower. Treehouse comfortable for two. Fire pit located close to the lake and a trail that goes to the kayak and the raft. Relax on our Bali inspired swing. Sunbath on the wharf SHARED-Two person kayak and raft. Shower disabled in the cold winter mths.

Pine/Honeymoon Cabin - Birchdale

Birchdale is a historic Hunting and Fishing Lodge founded in 1911! Situated down a long dirt road, in one of Nova Scotia's most bucolic areas, this beautiful retreat is rustic and completely off-grid. No cell service or electricity. A chance to breathe, explore and be in nature (with some creature comforts like flush toilet hot shower in your cabin!) Birchdale is a unique property dotted with 18 Cabins. Pine/Honeymoon was the first cabin built and has housed many a newlywed or quieter getaway.

Salmonwood Cottage is a two bedroom, one bathroom, rental nestled along the shore of Salmon Lake in Yarmouth County. You can enjoy all nature has to offer while benefiting from the comforts of modern living. The pet-friendly cottage comes with a washer/dryer, heat pump, woodstove, WiFi, Bell Satellite and can sleep up to four people. Enjoy your morning coffee on the large lake-side front deck, explore the area on foot or by kayak, and finish your day under the stars next to a roaring bonfire.

We are currently building on/renovating to add a larger living room, fireplace and an additional bedroom. I have the dates starting on September open for bookings. No cleaning fee!! The location says Tusket, it’s Quinan on Lake Kegeshook. The cottage is a farmhouse style with all white walls. Large windows and high ceilings allowing for great light.. The cottage is remote, quiet and perfect for relaxing. The cottage is a 20 mins drive in from the Tusket exit and 35 minutes to Yarmouth

Chez Gail Au Lac

Come relax at our two-bedroom lakefront cottage on Boarsback Lake. A tranquil getaway with just the right mix of lake, relaxation, sunsets, and campfires . An amazing place for a romantic couple’s getaway, family time or a solo adventurer/traveler. Large master bedroom with a king size bed, and a double bed in our cozy second bedroom. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, Keurig and BBQ. Guests have access to two kayaks, a paddle board and pool noodles.

Off grid cabins on Kegeshook lake, Quinan

Two off grid cabins on Kegeshook lake. Drive into a long tree covered winding driveway in a hard wood forest and arrive at the first cabin. This cabin is fully equipped with running hot water, solar power, propane, and generator backup. Living quarters include bathroom with shower, small kitchen, queen size bed and a double size pull out couch. Down a path towards the lake is the second cabin which is suitable for reading, relaxing, or hanging out on the deck overlooking the lake.

Private Lakeside Cottage in Yarmouth

Small private lakefront cottage. Secluded property next to the beautiful Ellenwood Provincial Park, full of hiking/walking trails. Rustic, and undergoing minor renovations, but a very cozy, clean place to stay. The Lake is clean and great for swimming! Full kitchen with most everything, an outdoor fire pit for nice nights, and a piano for rainy days. Heat pump, BBQ, fibre op, & Roku TV + Netflix! Wood stove is functional for extra heat and ambiance, wood not included however.

The Beach House (private hot tub and sauna)

We would like to share this piece of our paradise with you, located on a peaceful, crystal clear lake. Acres of land, a sandy beach hidden behind a well-groomed property sprinkled with beautiful tall trees disappearing into the Acadian forest. Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.

Peaceful and Secluded Cottage at Quinan River

A peaceful and secluded cottage surrounded by 22 acre woods where the Quinan river meanders behind it. This is a perfect spot to be completely immersed in nature where you can enjoy forest bathing to relieve stress or paddling the Quinan and Tusket rivers or nearby lakes. Your journey back to the nature could go further and beyond by gazing the stars in the dark night sky from the cottage's double decks. Highspeed Internet and a smart TV included
