Whispering Oak was lovingly built in 1908 by the Mothershed family. It is adorned by a massive Oak tree that holds a swing. We have divided the house into two private apartments. Secret Hideaway is on the right. There are 3 spacious rooms. Living/dining with adjoining kitchenette, large bedroom with closet with en-suite luxurious bathroom with walk in shower. There a lovely front porch with swing that provides amazing sunset views and a beautiful backyard with large covered portico.

Pegasus Lair, Midtown No PetFee, No Chores

Pegasus Lair is an upstairs unit. Spacious, 1200 ft. Well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. We live next door, and are generally available. Only 7 minutes by auto from downtown. Close to most attractions, entertainment and interstate. Street parking easily available in front of unit. Pet friendly. The home was built in 1907, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Please check photos for more details.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Located in a midtown historic district called Cooper Young. A walkable neighborhood with many restaurants and shopping within blocks. A small town feel in a metropolitan setting. We are near an International Airport and a railroad, so if you are accustomed to total silence, this may not be ideal for you.
