With the beach a short 5 minute walk away and with unique sundown views into the Agulhas bush, this is a special haven that will provide you with the best of all worlds. Let the kids play some table tennis or games in the spacious garden, have a few sundowner drinks in the adjoining braai area and relax after a stunning day at the beach. Families, beachgoers and fisherman's paradise! Ideal for 4-8 guests.

The De Mond Veld Cottage

This restored veld cottage, situated on the seaside portion of De Mond farm, is approximately 300 metres before the entrance gate to Cape Nature's unspoilt De Mond Nature Reserve - a must for the nature lover interested in coastal fynbos, birds, hiking, photography and fishing. The cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen, has a braai and indoor fireplace, and is very comfortable for 4 people with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and can accommodate a further 2 with a sleeper couch or camp beds.

It's the perfect location to stay for a week and enjoy everything the area of Swellendam & Bredasdorp has on offer. You’ll love Die Blouhuis because of the uniqueness of staying in a old-styled farm house. It is remote and therefor very peaceful, private and safe - perfect retreat for couples, solo adventurers and families, especially kids.

The living area has a built-in fireplace/barbecue, a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, a dining area and wonderful sea views. The main bedroom and children's bedroom also have sea views. The bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.
