Less than 10 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park and Lake Michigan, our beautiful log cabin sits on 2 acres while still being in the heart of Portage! Our large front deck overlooks state land giving a beautiful, private view out of our large windows. Our cozy cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with fun, thoughtful touches for your family including video game consoles, movies, books, a LOT of games, a pool/ping pong table, 2 fire pits, and more! Close walking distance to grocery store, liquor store and downtown restaurants and bars in peaceful Ottawa, Illinois near Starved Rock State Park. Upper level (has stairs) 2 bedroom overlooking the Illinois River, play in the large yard or build a campfire in the fire pit next to the river and just chill.

Watch families of deer migrate to the east in the morning and return West in the early evening. Blue Heron fish in the backyard creek. The creek is also used for kayaking to Lake George in Hobart. Try your hand at fishing. Blue gill, crappy and carp have been caught from those waters. Service dogs will be charged $ 75.00 cleaning fee.
