The patio boasts one of the best views in town- the Astoria-Megler bridge and the mighty mouth of the Pacific Ocean. Pets, friends and family are welcome here, although we ask that furry friends are kept OFF the beds and couches, as it is difficult to de-hair the furnishings! Capt Johnson House; history with river views

Enter with your passcode and you'll be welcomed by the parlor’s 10-foot ceilings. Your river view, two-bedroom suite, shower/bath and laundry are up the stairs. This landmark home was built in 1875 and is named for Captain Eric Johnson, a Swedish immigrant and riverboat pilot. The kitchenette has a microwave, mini fridge, hot pot and coffee maker. Tonquin's Rest Guest Suite in Astoria, Oregon
