Atchafalaya Rage’s Cabin in the Canes

Travel one mile down a sugarcane-lined road to arrive at this self-built cabin modeled after an 1830s Acadian Village home. This one-room rustic cabin sits on 27 acres, perfect for a gadget-free weekend of star gazing and bird watching. You’ll love sipping your coffee (or wine) on the large porches, complete with swing, rockers, and ceiling fans. Bring your furry friend and take long walks around the tree-lined property, or cozy up with your loved one and bask in the privacy of the cabin.

The Lodge

The Lodge is PERFECT for large gatherings. It is equipped with a commercial type kitchen, a 6 burner gas stove, double oven, marble top island, and roomy dining area. The enormous den has a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. There are 2 porches with comfortable seating. Walk right outside to the newly constructed outdoor kitchen that features commercial counters, sink, boiling set up and bbq pit. Fish or kayak in Perch Pond, just 50 steps away or walk around the pond on Lodge Trail Loop.

Log Cabin on the River

The Cabin is a cozy getaway located on a 4.5 acre lot in a quiet neighborhood. It's only 10 minutes away from the Baton Rouge Airport and Walmart. Downtown Baton Rouge and LSU are about 20 minutes away so if you’re planing to watch a game or enjoy the city it is a little bit of a drive. There's also a simple walking trail that goes to an over view of the Comite River. It takes 5 or 10 minutes to walk and can be challenging for small children but will be enjoyable for out door lovers.

Nestled on a bluff overlooking Bayou Sylvain, Sunset Grove features a renovated and remodeled camp house on six acres of beautiful land teeming with over a dozen different types of trees & numerous species of birds and other wildlife. The camp features 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The cozy downstairs space features a living room, full kitchen, dining room, bathroom & one bedroom. The upstairs space features a cozy sitting/TV room as well as a full bathroom and 3 bedrooms. FREE WiFi.

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

Authentic Motor Court

Cabins are prewar 1940's motor court with covered parking. Each cabin features, queen bed, TV, WiFi, small bathroom with small shower, original lavatory & fixtures in bathroom. Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Air conditioners and electric space heaters. Restaurant (Magnolia Cafe) hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10-3 and Coffee Shop ( Birdman ) on site. Come enjoy history with modern amenities and explore the beautiful plantations homes in our area.

Lake Martin Bayou Country Lake Cottage

Our cabin is called La Libellule. It is a wonderful little cabin on Lake Martin in Breaux Bridge, La. Amenities include a king size bed, screened in porch, shaded deck, fire pit, washer, dryer, 2 tvs, internet and a full kitchen. There are generally fresh herbs in the garden depending on what time of year you come. The dragon flys are glorious here and if you are lucky you can see a pinkish red one. There is a lovely walking trail nearby.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway spot. A historic structure transformed into a premium cabin with all the comforts of home. A small house with a king size bed, spacious shower, and comfortable leather recliners. A perfect place to rest after a day of adventuring. Full kitchen with coffee, tea, & waffle fixings. Local honey & eggs and other breakfast items can be provided upon request for an additional fee.
