Escape to a tranquil, adult-only, 1-bedroom cottage on 12 acres of peaceful hardwood forest. Spend the morning lazing on the screened porch or walk the trails & watch for deer and birds. Just 6 miles away, Watkinsville offers small town shopping & dining. Only a 20 min drive for antiquing and dining in historic Madison or head to Athens, home to UGA and all the shopping, dining and night-life of a college town. This light & airy studio is on our 2 acre lot separate and private from our house. In a safe neighborhood, 15-20 minutes to Athens, it has a cozy private back porch. We strive to be environmentally conscious- recycling, composting, solar Has queen bed, full bath, internet, TV w/ Roku stick, kitchen nook with sink, hotplate, microwave and small frig (no full stove or grill). Ceiling fans throughout, and quiet mini-split for heat & A/C . A wood stove is available for a $35 fee (notify host).
