We are within walking distance to the Skerwink Trail, Port Rexton Brewery, Two Whales Cafe and Fisher's Loft. Our location is perfect for exploring and discovering all the Bonavista Peninsula has to offer including hiking trails, boat tours, puffin viewing and amazing breathtaking scenery.

Our suite has a fully equipped kitchenette. So you can prepare basic meals. We supply utensils, dishes, glasses, and cutlery. 1812 Pierce House is a unique home on the National Register of Historic Places. Full of antiques & modern touches. If you like interesting places to stay, this is for you! If you like straight lines & central air, we recommend a hotel. A private entrance with your own entry hall bedroom w/ table, closet, & small hall leading to the bathroom w/ shower. Small fridge with freezer, hot water kettle, coffee/tea, 2 electric burners, toaster & microwave. Firepit in large yard. Close walk to river.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!
