The Acorn is part of the 60 acre, 137 year old Oakland House property that has been operated as a summer vacation destination since it was opened to guests on July 4th, 1889. Once an ice house and even a casino, the Acorn is a quaintly rustic piece of history we hope you enjoy! Banditry of Chickadees is a private room with one queen and one twin bed and is tastefully decorated with antique furnishings. Room is accessed from an exterior staircase off the porch.

Notre auberge a pris un bon coup de jeune avec des rénovations toutes fraîches. La chute propose un lit double, confortable, l'endroit idéal après une journée d'aventures. L'accès à notre cuisine commun est l'endroit idéal pour discuter avec les autres voyageurs, ce préparer un festin dans notre nouvelle cuisine. Tu as la mer juste devant les yeux en faisant ta cuisine. Pour les amateurs de nature, le parc Forillon est à deux pas de notre auberge!

Coastal Queens Place Hostel - Work Away Room

Coastal Queens Hostel is run by a not-for-profit board and members. Our building, originally an elementary school, has been turned into a community space we are keeping alive with endeavours such as this hostel. We are located in the beautiful town of Port Mouton on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, home to many beautiful white sand beaches and restaurants (seasonal) within a 2 to 5 minute drive. We are 10 minutes from the closest town (Liverpool).
