The bothy- peaceful country life near the sea

The bothy is a beautiful newly converted farm building located on the east mainland of Orkney. The property is in the countryside, surrounded by farmland and just along the road from one of several wonderful beaches in Deerness. Should you need any items for a baby like a carrier (any age), seat, snuzpod, cot/ cotbed, highchair, etc. Please let us know prior to your arrival, along with the age of the baby/toddler. We also have a 4 bedroom house next door should you need a bigger accommodation

Adjoining the main residence with its own separate entrance the apartment comprises a combined living room kitchen, spacious double bedroom and en-suite shower room with hand basin and toilet. This home from home offers an attractive bright interior and is centrally heated throughout.

The Ruah - Clifftop Retreat

A cosy self catering cottage for two in a private cliff top location on Eday. Located on Eday, heart of Orkney's north isles, this renovated croft is on Green Farm with a private sandy beach and copious open space. The Ruah is available all year and is ideal for walking, bird watching, cloud spotting, star gazing, rock pooling, daydreaming - or maybe just relaxing. There’s a walled yard to the front of the cottage with a picnic bench and uninterrupted views of the sea and neighbouring islands.

Modern purpose built eco friendly holiday home

Regional finalist featured on BBC Scotland Home of the Year 2023. Skeir a Lidda (meaning the flat skerries) takes its name from the sea shore immediately below the property. Constructed in 2021 it has been purpose built to the highest modern standards. Conveniently situated, Skeir a Lidda is easy to get to and is a perfect base from which to explore the islands. While the annexe is connected to the host's own house it is self contained and private. Friendly help and advice is right next door!

Situated 3 miles from Kirkwall Town centre, with country walks from our doorstep, we offer the ideal spot to explore Orkney. We have free off road parking and an outdoor drying space. Please note: this property is accessed via stairs and no lifts etc are available.

Secluded cottage by the Sea

A unique home by the sea. A peaceful and private country road leads to this secluded cottage. The hot tub has views down scapa flow. The famous St Magus Way is accessible from this property . There is direct access to the sea for paddle boarding, wind surfing or sailing in the bay. Return to the cottage to an open fire. The extensive grounds also allow for simple walks or yoga. The cottage retains some of it's 19th century charm but has been renovated to be a practical and comfortable home.

Marston's Black Rock Cabin is set entirely on the ground floor. It features a living-room with a pull-out sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy bedroom, bathroom and its private hot tub. We are in an ideal central location to holiday on Sanday in Lady Village. We are just a minute-walk to the local shop, bicycle hire and post office. A 20-minute steady walk will take you to the play park, pool and gym. The cabin's private entrance is located on a quiet track leading to a pebbly beach.

Trowietoon is a small cottage built in 1933, it is a quirky little cottage set a stones throw away from Newark Beach. It is a peaceful location and the perfect quiet getaway When the weather is stormy, the views of the beach are amazing, the raging sea crashing onto the shore, viewing from the cosy conservatory what more could you wish for Should you want to book less than the minimum nights required then please get in touch as this may still be possible

Lovely 1 bedroom first floor flat in town centre

A stay at this flat gives you easy access on foot to Kirkwall's town centre and all it has to offer. If you are taking a car to explore further afield, there is also on site free parking. I hope that you enjoy your time in Orkney and that the flat has everything you need. The flat is literally just around the corner from the fantastic Rendall's Bakery, the Willow's Chinese Takeaway and chip shop, and the Wellpark Garden Centre and Willows Coffee shop!

Apt 2 is in a quiet central location in Kirkwall with it's own garden, traditional stone wall feature and wood burning stove. This is a perfect home to come back to after a busy day sight seeing. It has all amenities on it's doorstep, walking distance to all shops, pubs, restaurants and the Cathedral. Parking nearby. Bedroom 1 can be either superking or twin bed and maisonette bedroom upstairs is a king bed.
