Chambls Shack

Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

The River House, Coba Point

The River House is a unique, off grid water access only sanctuary featuring indoor/outdoor living and dining areas and it’s own private deep water pontoon and beach. Located 45 minutes north of Sydney on Berowra Creek, a tributary of the Hawkesbury River, the north facing house is backed by Marramarra National Park, and surrounded by bushland with superb views of the Hawkesbury River. The Hideout Cabin

Take yourselves away on a stunning waterfront nature retreat at this private, peaceful and stylish solar powered cabin in the middle of the Tasmanian wilderness. Your retreat is a private ABSOLUTE beachfront home on three levels, with ocean panoramas everywhere you look. There is not a road, power line, fence or cliff to separate you from the ever-changing ocean, and your secluded cove-beach just 30 steps below. ONE host with just ONE home. Total focus on your visit. I am not able to welcome or host PETS as there is no fencing, with sensitive ocean reserve public land adjoining.

Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Welcome to the beautiful east coast of Bruny Island, where contentment and connection awaits. From The Joneses, a mid century style home originally built by Mr L Jones and reimagined in 2023 to become a luxurious escape for couples or solo travellers, you will have uninterrupted views of the azure waters of Adventure Bay and across to Penguin Island and Fluted Cape.
