One of the few in Lakemont Pines with true lake views, it offers cozy mid-century A-frame charm, a relaxing deck, and private lake access. Ski Bear Valley, play in the snow park, explore Big Trees, hike, swim, sip wine, or visit historic Murphys—all just minutes away. Groceries and supplies are nearby, and the lake is a short walk from the cabin. Dogs welcome. Both adventure and serenity await!

We are delighted to share a truly remarkable retreat: a meticulously restored cabin, originally built in 1934. This exceptional property offers an opportunity to immerse oneself in nature and profound tranquility. This cozy, secluded, and off-grid cabin is furnished with luxury amenities, modern conveniences, and a well-equipped kitchen. It's situated on 2.5 acres, with its private creek. Easily accessible via a paved road, 3 minutes to Avery, 8 minutes to Arnold, and 12 minutes to Murphys.

The Hideaway

The Hideaway is an enchanting one room casita situated on the outer crest of the property, The Confluence. Wake up to the sunrise with a lush *View* of the natural countryside from your private deck. The Hideaway is accessed by a foot path (200ft) from the Main House. The Private Bathroom is off of the Main House (200ft walk from the room). From the parking area to the room, it is roughly 400ft. There is no kitchen or cooking appliances other than a hot water kettle and a mini-frig.

Private Guest Suite Near Downtown Murphys

Our guest suite is located one mile from downtown Murphys. You are a 3 min drive or short walk from 30+ wineries, good eats, and beautiful walks! For those looking for adventure drive 8 min to explore Mercer Caverns, 25 min to Big Trees State Park for beautiful hikes, or ski/snowboard 45 min away at Bear Valley Mountain Resort. Enjoy a comfortable, clean, and convenient stay with a modern bathroom, open style space, and all the creature comforts to make your stay a relaxing one!

Between Murphys and Arnold, Private, Flat parking!

Early 1900's style cabin built in 1917. Upgraded in 2006 with modern furniture, appliances, and deck. Plenty of flat parking and outdoor space with a horseshoe pit. Settled in the Forest at 3450 feet elevation. 7 miles from Main Street Murphy's and 7 miles from Arnold. Adventure awaits in the outdoors. Enjoy various local mountain lakes, easy river access in Dorrington, fishing, hiking, kayaking and more. Beautiful drive up the hill to Big Trees State Park and Bear Valley.

Arnold cozy cabin

Only one block off of Hwy 4, walking distance to stores and eateries. One bedroom with one double size bed and a large loft, (up the spiral staircase) with one double size bed. Sheets and Towels are provided. Nice deck for outside dining. Dog friendly! (The yard is not fenced). Note: A small air conditioner is in the living room. It is a cabin in the mountains so it will not be as toasty as home. NOTE: Verizon works, AT&T has little or no reception in this area.

Little Arnold A-Frame Cabin

Our classic 1970s A-Frame cabin offers a simple space of retreat with lovely light, view of the trees and uncluttered decor. Great for couples and also solo travelers. Arnold has a small town feel and is perfect for a weekend getaway or as a base for your adventures in the Sierras. There's lots to explore w/ Calaveras Big Trees SP and Stanislaus Forest minutes away, alpine lakes, swimming, skiing, and wine tasting, or just relax at the cabin and take in the view.

Studio in Beautiful Sonora, Private &SelfContained

This self contained space is part of our home, but is a separate building right next to the house. There's a well lit hallway to your private entrance. It's one large room with an enclosed bathroom. There's a shower, toilet and vanity. No tub. There's a queen size bed, 6' couch, dining table/chairs and fridge. You can BBQ and use the patio table. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and starry nights from comfy seats on the deck.

Sierra Foothills River Retreat

Enjoy a private guest suite on the Mokelumne river with no cleaning fees and a hassle free stay. Fall asleep to the sound of the river. Sit on 1 of 3 decks to enjoy the scenic views and watch the wildlife. Walk in the river, go fishing, pan for gold. The lower deck on the river has a hammock & 2 person swing. Visit Silver lake, Kirkwood, Big Trees Nat. Park or Lake Tahoe. Go wine tasting, antiquing or hiking.

Designer A-frame cabin in a great location

This cabin has been recently remodeled with high end furnishings and appliances in a quiet setting but close to the local amenities. Each bedroom has a California king-size bed and a Wifi connected smart TV. There is a 50" flat screen in the living room, 3 Sonos speakers to play your music and the kitchen is stocked with plenty of Williams Sonoma cookware, knives, and dishes.
