Cozy Cabin by the Pond

Primary guest must be 21+ Quiet country location to relax & enjoy. Just 9 miles west of Dubuque, near Wineries, Heritage Trail, Sundown Mountain Resort. Primary guest must be 21+ to book. Cozy cabin & 1/4 acre pond. We're sure you’ll love this space as much as we do. Not suitable for children under 12, we strictly enforce no children or pets, and must be 21+ to book. Outdoor space, gas grill, gas fire pit. Fully stocked cabin, with breakfast items included for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Tranquility & Vistas on the Farm in the Guest Barn

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

Our little spot is right on the mighty Mississippi river, a beautiful spot to relax, fish, bird watch including eagles! We feature a large deck facing the water to enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail to watch sunsets. When you’re ready to settle in for the evening, we have ready-to-cook kitchen, grill, WiFi, Amazon Prime and Netflix, fireplace and comfy seating. So just relax! Is this Heaven? Maybe. Are you looking for a fun getaway for yourself, family, or friends? Well, look no further. Our place is ready for you to make lifelong memories. Create and tell stories while sitting under the stars next to the crackling campfire. Do your morning yoga by the babbling stream. Hike the trails. Soak up the sun on the sandy beach while listening to the waterfall. Laugh and splash your kiddos in our pond. Beach chairs, sand toys, floaties, kayaks, and more.

Unplug and get back to nature

The log cabin was built as a place to unwind, relax, and truly unplug. Nestled among 15 acres of rolling hills, the cabin can serve as a place to hunker down and read three novels, or a home base for hiking, cycling and putting the nature back in your life. Be advised, there is NO television and that’s for good reason. Cook, drink, eat, play, relax and refresh yourself. Wake up to the songs of birds and listen to the owls at night while you’re warming yourself around a bonfire.

Cushion Cabins East

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

Cabin in the Woods

Rustic cabin surrounded by small timber tract. Very cozy cabin with relaxing space, sleeps 6 guests; 4 beds, 1 Queen & 3 full beds. Quiet and private. You have the entire cabin to yourself. Enjoy the fire pit and feel to walk around the grounds. Close to The Field of Dreams, Mississippi and Maquoketa Rivers. Also, close to Jones and Delaware county fair grounds. You’ll also find that Farley Speedway and Tristate Raceway are minutes away. Nature awaits!!

The Cottage

A Quaint Cottage on the Mississippi River one mile north of Marquette, IA. One bedroom with additional sofa sleeper in the common area. Public boat landing, Casino and Winery all within one mile. Gas grill and fire pit on site. Effigy Mounds and Pikes Peak within 3 miles. Prairie du Chien just across the bridge. Great eating and shopping in nearby McGregor! Fun family getaway or great area for fishermen! Seasonal cottage books May thru Mid October.

Home by the River

Situated alongside the Mississippi River, wildlife abounds in every season. With eagles nesting nearby, there is always something new to see from the beautiful sunrises, cruise ships passing by, and watching the commerce of the barges and railroad right out the front window! This home has been recently refurbished and sits at the edge of our 15 acres. You can see us and visit with us if you like, or you can maintain privacy 10 acres away!

Come stay at this warm and cozy farmhouse style home. This newly renovated home has everything to offer. This kitchen is unbelievable and has all your kitchen needs. Relax on the patio outback and grill some of your favorite foods! This home is located in a quiet neighborhood. It is right next to Manchester’s fair grounds and very close to downtown Manchester which includes the river, beer and food. You can’t get a better location!

Taste of History- 2 bedroom lower level apartment

Set in a small midwest town, this home, built in 1888 has maintained it's charm and will provide the perfect space for you and your family to stay while in the area. It's truly a gift to be able to share my home with others and we look forward to accommodating travelers from all stages of life. For a while, “hot water” was listed as something that was “unavailable”; this is not the case. The house is fully equipped with hot water
