Finca la puesta del sol (Bungalow: El Tucán)

There's only one thing you need to know about our property: we promise it'll give you the best view in all Costa Rica. We're up on a mountain with almost a 200 km view into the distance, overlooking the jungle surrounded Sierpe River (where the largest wetlands and mangrove system in of all Costa Rica resides), that extends out until it meets the Pacific Ocean, where you find Caño Island. To say its magical, doesn't quite do it justice. Please note, that we can only accept cash, no credit card!

Once you arrive, everything you need is within a few minutes walk of the casita. We are 150 m away from the sea, minutes to groceries & dining, and most tours leave right from the bay! The town is quaint yet vibrant with adventure just footsteps from our front porch. We can't wait for you to experience the magic of Drake Bay!

Drake Bay... Corcovado National Park!!!

Punta Marenco Lodge is located 15 minutes going south from Drake Bay; in a paradise conserved for 30 years as a Biological Reserve by a Costa Rican family. This land was previously known as Marenco Biological Reserve, but now, has been declared, as a result of the owner effort, in 1997 by the government of Costa Rica as a National Wild Life Refuge; the name of this place is now "Punta Río Claro National Wild Life Refuge". You’ll find that getting there is part of the Punta Río Claro adventure.

Largo del ruido y de la gente, dentro de unos de los sitios más biodiversos del mundo. Tiene senderos, cataratas, jardín, pozas y proyectos de investigación científica dentro de la propiedad. Comedor amplio con cocina compartida, también se ofrece servicios de alimentación, taxi y tours en la propiedad y en el Parque Corcovado. Internet limitado y electricidad con paneles solares. Normalmente siempre hay voluntarios viviendo en el lugar para atender a clientes y dar mantenimiento.
