The accommodation comprises of one King bed downstairs, a mezzanine with 2 single beds and second mezzanine with one single bed, both accessed by ladder. Cottage is Off Grid, lights and fridge are solar powered,. Cooker, hot water, heating and shower are powered by gas.

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

The “retreat” is equipped with a sauna, ice bath, outdoor shower and fire pit overlooking Mangerton Mountain. Our newly refurbished spacious farmhouse is located in a quiet, scenic area surrounded by fields which boasts a wonderful backdrop of The MacGillycuddy Reeks. This house is situated on a site of its own with a big back garden which is perfect for relaxing in or playing a game of soccer. The garden is facing the mountains with a southern aspect so is also a perfect place to simply relax, unwind and soak up the peaceful scenic surroundings .

Glengarriff Lodge (formally Lord Bantry's Cottage)

Glengarriff Lodge, or what used to be Lord Bantry's Cottage, is a luxury self-catering space hidden away on a secluded, leafy island surrounded by 50-acres of ancient oak woodlands in Glengarriff, West Cork. The estate was the location of a former hunting lodge for the Earls of Bantry and offers guests a rare glimpse of a truly magical part of old Ireland, in an absolutely gorgeous and pristine setting with privacy and comfort.
