This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Built in approximately 1940, it’s ideal and idyllic for couples and solo travellers. The space, created with a lot of love and thought, is made more special with its lawn against the backdrop of the mighty Dhauladhars. Ideal to practise yoga, meditation or just enjoy a hot beverage whilst bird spotting and certainly to fire up the bbq grill. The name is nostalgic to the Dak Bangla under British India, meant for travellers and postmen.

The property is a 1 BHK with airconditioning (A private living room, dining area, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, work space, and a private porch) situated on the ground floor of a 2-storey building. We are looking for peace-loving and friendly guests who will not disturb the calmness of the neighbourhood, and are pet-friendly as our neighbours have multiple dogs.

You can pick up a book from our mini library and read in your favourite corner overlooking the Norbulingka Institute.
