The Southwester is a romantic and beautifully decorated 2 floor, three-bedroom cottage adjacent to the inn. Two queen bedrooms and one bedroom with two twins. This unit can sleep up to 6 people. A private living room, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, and a large private bathroom complete the space. The living room offers French doors opening to your own private deck. Built in 1849, Pres du Port has been in our family for over 50 years. Perched above the harbor within Stonington village, each room is unique and the views are breathtaking. Walk to everything in town or relax in a rocking chair on the porch. With harbor views and a direct entrance to the deck, Beau Rivage has a queen-size bed and a private bath. The bath is not ensuite but just a few steps down the hall. This is the room to stay in for those that want to gaze out at sea, morning or night.

Located at the tip of the Blue Hill Peninsula, Brooklin, Maine offers a quiet retreat a bit over an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. A one-minute walk from The Maine Hideaway's doorstep brings you into the historic village of Brooklin, Maine and a close walk to Wooden Boat School. Our home was built in 1874, we have multiple guest rooms, all with incredibly comfortable mattresses and modern furnishings. We serve a continental breakfast Tue-Sat and hot breakfast on Sun & Mon.

Our place is next to Acadia National Park on the Schoodic Peninsula. Winter Harbor has restaurants and galleries, a ferry to Bar Harbor and the free Island Explorer bus to the Acadia National park and downtown Winter Harbor. You’ll love our home because it is very comfortable with beautiful gardens and many quiet sitting areas for early morning coffee or your late afternoon wine. Our place is very accommodating for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and for bird watchers.

2 Black Friar Inn and Pub Stained Glass Room

We are the Black Friar Inn and Pub. This is room 2 on our 2nd floor. It has a private bath and the ceiling of the bathroom was once a trolley car’s ceiling. The stained glass windows give the room a rosy Medieval glow. With two comfortable chairs and a fireplace, this room has it all. We are a B&B so breakfast is included with your stay. Please see our website for the menu. Our in town location gives our guests a three minute walk to the harbor and downtown Bar Harbor.

My colonial home is surrounded by rolling fields and Maine woods for exploring but you are only a 20 minute drive away from Bangor, 40 minutes away from Belfast and an hour to Acadia National Park. This space is ideal if you are vacationing in mid-coast Maine but do not want to pay tourist prices at a Bed & Breakfast.
