Feel free to take a walk down to the river at the bottom of our property. There you will find a park like setting where you can relax and listen to nature if you like. The Barton house gets its name from its close proximity to the Barton 1792 distillery & view of Barton rickhouses from the front door. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood & is a 5 min. drive to the dinner train and quaint streets of downtown Bardstown. It is a short 10 min. drive to many of the distilleries and wineries. We are located in the heart of the bourbon capital of the world. If your looking for a peaceful quiet country night we are the place for you. We offer a queen size bed and small pull out sofa. There are several local attractions we are 6 miles from Makers Mark, 11 miles to Log Still, 3 miles from the XB Arena (Saturday nights Nov-March), and 13 miles to Historic Bardstown to include Heaven Hill. At night you can relax under our grain bin gazebo. Horse stalls available for $25

Surrounded by pastures, your only neighbors are the grazing cows. It has 2 wonderful porches, firepit area, renovated garage to hang out in, 320 acres to roam on & 2 fishing ponds.
