Located 15 minutes from Galway and 5 minutes from Barna and Moycullen, this countryside retreat features brand new furniture and fittings throughout and sleeps up to 4: - 2 in a beautiful, spacious double bedroom and - 2 on a comfortable sofa bed. Wild strawberry Shepard’s Hut with Hot Tub

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

We welcome you to stay at our newly renovated coastal home in the heart of Barna village on the Wild Atlantic way and 15 minutes from Galway City and 10 minutes from Salthill. We look out on Galway Bay. We are 2 minute's walk from the two beaches and 5 minute's walk from the great selection of restaurants, pubs, hotels , cafes, hairdressers, barbers, supermarket and launderette. We are on the main thoroughfare between Galway city and Connemara including transport links to the Aran Islands.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels

Stone Cottage

Unique home constructed entirely from stone. Two wood-panelled upstairs bedrooms and one downstairs bedroom. All bedrooms en suite. Large modern well-equipped kitchen. High ceiling living area. Wild Cabins Kinvara

Escape into nature in a 5 star, architecturally designed, off grid cabin. Stay in seclusion at Burren Nature Sanctuary, adults only stay. Fully off grid experience including solar powered hot water and a modern Scandinavian dry (compost) toilet. Upon arrival you are provided with a fully charged battery, powered by solar panels on the roof and a reservoir of treated rainwater harvested on the roof for washing.
