With a fully stocked kitchen it’s ready to cook for any occasion. Plenty of outdoor activities nearby or even perfect for a staycation. Always kept spotless for your stay.

The best family vacation starts here at Barren River! Peaceful & centrally-located, recently renovated and a brand new second deck and spa hot tub! 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen with new appliances, a huge deck with a Blackstone and a spectacular view of Barren River Lake. Start your day with coffee on the deck listening to wildlife and end it relaxing in the spa hot tub or making smores with the family by the fire. The cottage is 1 mile from Bailey's point and 3 miles from State Park.

Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

Nestled in the harbor of the Barren River Lake, the 2 story lake house commands a stunning year around lakeview with direct access to the dock & the parking space for your boat. Each room has its own bath. There are pool table, foosball game table and other games that your group can entertain inside the house. There is walking trail nearby for you to stroll by the lake. It located in the best areas on Barren River Lake. Only 15 min to boat rental; 30 min to Mammoth Cave and GM Corvette Museum.

Yes, we have wi-fi... but turn off the cell phones for a few days and enjoy the crickets and the fire flies... light up the fire pit and pass around the apple pie moon shine... might be fun to just lay on back and chill for a moment. And if you have one in ya.. the pool table is waiting...

Come stay with us for a unique experience. Pool, hot tub and fire pit are ready for your stay at this unforgettable escape. A quiet horse farm down a 1 mile gravel drive situated on 25 acres completely surrounded by woods that back up to the Barren River Lake. If you are looking for solitude come enjoy the tranquil surroundings, take in the sights of Kentucky or just enjoy the pool/hot tub. You will come upon our dogs, cats, chickens and horses. We work full time and run the farm.
