Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

Our cozy Riverside Cabin is a place of peace, 15 minutes from downtown Bowling Green. Our retreat is located uniquely, between the beautiful Barren & Gasper Rivers. This is a unique, unplugged experience for a romantic get-away. We don't have WiFi, and cell service is sparse. Prepare for an experience with your favorite person, with nature flourishing all around you. We insist our guests enjoy a 5 star experience, so if there's anything you'd like provided, ask, and we'll do everything we can.

In addition to the spacious bedrooms, there are 2 pull-out beds and 2 twin beds, providing ample sleeping space for everyone. We’re open just in time for the nice spring weather. Enjoy perfect bonfire weather with free firewood. Morel mushroom will be up before you know it. Come enjoy All the song birds and the peaceful area secluded on the lake with water access by walking trail, great for kayakers with easy launch area. Kayak rentals are also available. Perfect for spring fishing with plenty of room to park your boat. Situated on 20 acres backed up to the redline. With creeks and waterfalls a few steps away.

Welcome to the Ponderosa! This unique lake getaway includes a quaint Amish built cabin , Kitchen house, and 2 bed bunk house. All connect to a HUGE wrap around deck built to entertain and relax on. Small, simple, and set up for a relaxing get away with the family! This property has a wide walking trail down to the redline. Private gated entry and ample parking for many cars/trailers. Boat rentals and rental docks are available at nearby Ponderosa Marina and Wax Marina. NEW HOT TUB!

Enjoy this peaceful home at Nolin Lake. Located in the lake community of Annetta/Ambassador Shores. Lake access is about a 10-minute walk or 6/10 mile to the ramp. Rent a dock or boat at Moutedier Marina. Nolin State Park is close & has a swimming beach. Check out fishing & hiking in the area. Early mornings & dusk are best times to see our resident deer. Fire-pit in front yard, firewood available. Mammoth Cave & Dinosaur World about 30 miles away. 30 miles to Glendale.
