Just 10 miles from Scottsville, 15 from Glasgow, 30 from Bowling Green, and only 25 from Mammoth Cave. Have fun on the two story’s of large deck space and living areas. With a fully stocked kitchen it’s ready to cook for any occasion. Plenty of outdoor activities nearby or even perfect for a staycation. Always kept spotless for your stay.

Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

If you are looking to get away from the crazy that life throws at us every day, we have the perfect get away for you... Catfish Cove is tucked away in a peaceful hideaway that no one will find you... Yes, we have wi-fi... but turn off the cell phones for a few days and enjoy the crickets and the fire flies... light up the fire pit and pass around the apple pie moon shine... might be fun to just lay on back and chill for a moment. And if you have one in ya.. the pool table is waiting...

Our property offers shoreline access to the lake for swimming and kayak launching. We are prohibited from allowing guests use usage of the docks. Enjoy stunning panoramic lake views, screened porch, hot tub, fire pit, corn hole, board games and more. Pickleball court coming Fall 2025 15 miles to Mammoth Cave Nat Park.
