The Zydeco House

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. The house is within walking distance to shops and restaurants and a 5 minute drive to Lake Martin where you can take a boat tour of the lake. It was built in 1906, 12’ ceilings and beautiful old wood floors. It is a classic Cajun design. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils . We stock the refrigerator with breakfast foods and the pantry is stocked with snacks and more. Pets are welcome.

We are located in the historical Beauregard Town in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge and 2.6 miles to LSU's Tiger Stadium. This cottage offers a view of the Louisiana State Capitol and a community garden.
