Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Nestled in a grove of white pines, protecting the house from the road, this sweet spot will meet guests seeking quiet and relaxation. Curl up in your cozy bedroom. Lounge on the back deck. But if you do choose to explore the area, Northwoods Nest is in a great location located five miles from Washburn, one mile from a (class 1 fishery) river, three miles from the beach and nine miles to Bayfield. Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage

The guest cottage is painted to resemble a Scandinavian retreat. Complete with separate bedroom, extra fold-out sofa queen bed, kitchenette, wood burning stove, WiFi (the best we can find but not great!!!) and large television (DirecTV), it is a great getaway for a couple or a family. Owners live on property if you need anything. If you are a bit adventurous, we can put up a tent right next to Lake Superior. The entire property is smoke free. For a quiet stay, no snowmobiles or ATVs.

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

Located 10 minutes s. of Bayfield, this is a casual, comfortable, and welcoming two-bedroom located across the highway from Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands and less than a mile from near the best beaches in the region. Named for the Onion River that flows nearby, this rental has a combo of pine floors & tile. Upstairs kitchen & dining area. Large lawn with easy, plentiful parking. Mt. Ashwabay, Big Top Chautauqua nearby. Outdoor patio + campfire area.
