Shipping Container Cabin by the Clutha

Stay in a unique cabin built from two shipping containers! Where 'Industrial style' meets 'Country!' Spend a night relaxing at Ormaglade Cabins! Modern, warm & cosy with a relaxed feel. Unwind and enjoy the night sky! Everything you need and nothing you don't! Bring a friend & take a break, chill on the deck, by the fire or take a walk in the countryside along the Clutha Gold Trail. NB: We have a 2nd cabin onsite sleeps 5, good for 2 groups. See photo. We are open to short term winter stays.

Stableburn Cottage: Unique off-grid family bach

Take an eco-friendly break. Small family bach with all the basics for a comfortable, minimalist stay, best suited to 2 adults and up to 4 children or 4 adults. Immerse yourself in rural sights and sounds. Wander down to the river for a paddle, picnic, try your luck fishing or panning for gold. Relax on the deck with a book borrowed from our bookcase & enjoy an evening drink while the light changes over the Old Man Range to the north. Gently fall asleep listening to the mighty Clutha River.

Dogwood cottage

Catch the Aurora Australis from the beach or watch the sunrise over the ocean from your private deck. Warm, one-bedroom cottage, surrounded by wildflowers, has 3 beds and a cot. Kitchenette has microwave, kettle, toaster and electric benchtop cooker. Ensuite bedroom has a queen bed and cot. The spacious lounge/dining room has 2 fold-out double sofabeds. Ideal for a peaceful overnight stop or short break. 30 minutes from Dunedin via Brighton, and 25 minutes from Dunedin airport via Waihola.

The Studio at No 9.

This peaceful, hill top, studio room is just a 10 minute amble to the town’s parks, gardens, cafes, shops and restaurants. Wifi, TV, microwave and small refrigerator, kettle and toaster with basic kitchen cutlery and crockery, teas and coffees supplied. Brand new bathroom. Private entry and driveway with undercover parking. The decor is eclectic and there are two outdoor seating options. The garden is shared. Guest access by key lock. Check in from 3pm and check out by noon.

The Church - Central Otago -Millers Flat

Central Otago stylish historical boutique with warmth, history, charm and character the perfect luxurious escape with peace and tranquility, or for small groups to gather and enjoy the beautiful historical space for reconnecting. A separate bedroom, mezzanine and 25sqm covered louvre deck with BBQ.  The Church is a delightful home away from home – heated for winter and cool for summer. Hillside Retreat & Woodstoked Hot Tub

This unique place has a style all its own. Come and enjoy some peace and quiet admiring the outstanding views of Mount Benger in your own wood stoked stainless steel hot tub. The hot tub will be filled with fresh water and heated on request. There are several outstanding cafes locally along with the beautiful Clutha Gold Cycle trail. The Millers Flat Tavern is open for meals Pinders Pond is a local swimming attraction. Highland Bike hire in Roxburgh has ebikes for hire.

Honey Cottage in Ettrick

Experience beautiful Ettrick and the wider Central Otago area in this peaceful and private self-contained rustic cottage. Situated around 10 km south of Roxburgh, in the heart of the Teviot Valley famous for its fruit production, 5km from the Clutha cycle trail, surrounded by the epic Central Otago hillscapes. There are endless activities just on it's doorstep including cycling, tramping, fruit picking and all that the famous Central Otago region has to offer.

Tree House with a view

Stay in a tree house, nestled among the native trees and birds, with your own private deck, views looking over the taieri mouth river and ocean and straight to Moturata Island which is a distinctive landmark and can be walked to at low-tide. the Studio is heated by heat pump, double glazing, very cosy warm space. access to property does have a steep driveway but the view is worth it. Greenbank Getaway - Private, Peaceful, Cosy!

Welcome to Greenbank! Our special slice of paradise only 20 minutes from Dunedin and 10 minutes from the airport - this is country living at its finest! Our place is nestled in the heart of the Taieri Plains on a 25ha working farm. The original half of the homestead was built in 1868, and while the guest accomodation was developed about a century later, it has been tastefully designed to replicate the character of the main home.

Blue Mountain View

Blue Mountain View sits above the historic town of Lawrence looking across open country to the Blue Mountains. The apartment suitable for 1 or 2 night private and peaceful stays, with access to the garden. Free secure storage is available for cyclists if required. Lawrence town is a short walk down the hill (but might feel slightly longer coming back up). If you decide to come our way we very much look forward to meeting you.

Try your luck at fishing alternately relax in the sunny conservatory or read by the fire. Starlink wifi is available. A convenient 15 minutes from Local supermarkets etc.

Mt Talbot Cottage

Come and experience country living in this lovely 2 bedroom cottage on the edge of the Gore Township. Pets okay but MUST be keep outside. NO pets inside. Got no problem with people using electric cars but being sneaky and plugging in after dark will earn you a bad review and comments. Just be honest and talk with us.
