The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Newly renovated home in the midst of the Swanson Cattle Company farm & ranch. With fresh paint and brand new furnishings you will find this farm/ranch home a classy way to spend time in the country and away from the city. Open area kitchen, dining, and living room allows guests to communicate with ease. Look out the window and you will see livestock, pheasants, wild turkey, and many other things a farm and ranch has to offer. Sit on the private deck and watch the beautiful Nebraska sunsets.

Gym has treadmill, stair master and free weights. Huge bar/game room has a pool table and games. Deck overlooks downtown. Large bedrooms with closet/drawer space. It is a vintage building that has old hardwood floors, strange plug ins, antique hardware on doors, and some stairs to climb to get to it.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. We pay homage to the Golden Girls in this beautiful completely remodeled house. Come and enjoy your time in Norton. The Master Bedroom has a King Size bed with a private bathroom. The other bedrooms have a Queen and a twin trundle. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry makes you feel right at home. The living space has a TV and a wonderful couch that is cozy and nice enough for sleep! Come enjoy your time in Norton with us!

Enjoy the hot tub, the gazebo with gas fire pit. The sitting area with a wood fire pit. Total privacy. Regular sized shower. Your own parking space. Beautiful landscaped area. The location is central putting you near the hospital, downtown, and north Kearney shopping and restaurants. Host is an Uber, Lyft, and Doordash driver!

This is a rural getaway location that has a beautiful view of the country side. It has a full kitchen that has all the amenities of home. The kitchen comes with plates, silverware, cups, cooking ware. Bathroom has a washer and dryer. Bathroom also comes with towels. BBQ Gill is available-Propane Dog Kennels are also available with water and food bowls
